For anyone interested in diving in to the details of the “form-based” (appearance-based) building codes proposed to replace traditional zoning in two dozen West Homewood parcels, here’s the plan again, from May 7, 2013.

Click here for a link to the post presenting the city of Homewood’s Form-based code book, developed by the Regional Planning Commission of Greater Birmingham and the city, with input from citizens.

The Homewood Planning Commission will hold a public hearing at its regular April 1 to consider the rezoning applications on these properties. The City Council has the final say.
